The nursery is purpose-built to offer perfect emotional, social, physical and educational stability and stimulation for your child.

Conkers offers a wide range of modern educational play equipment to be explored and enjoyed in an extremely secure environment.

Learning does not always take place within the nursery.  Our staff work very hard to discover new and stimulating places to visit – with parent/guardian’s permission. Pre arranged trips are organised outside the nursery with typical outings to local children’s farms and the library etc.

Conkers maintains development progress records on all the children, these chart their achievements all the way through the nursery.  These are assembled using the observations of the staff in your child’s base room and cover areas such as Mobility, Co-ordination, Independence, Use of Language and Social Play.  The records are not designed to be a target but serve as an essential, continual update for parents/guardians of their child’s development.  You will be invited to regular Parent’s Evenings to discuss these progress reports, and indeed anything else, with your child’s Key Worker.
